Sobe Essential Energy Orange comes in a white 16 fl. oz. aluminum can and is lightly carbonated with 30 percent fruit juice. This energy drink is created to give people healthier energy by using natural fruit juice, natural energy ingredients and flavors, and antioxidants to protect the body from harmful free radicals.

The thing that struck me the most about this energy drink is its taste, I’m surprised how much this drink tasted like regular orange juice. The differences between the two is that Sobe’s juice is lighter and is carbonated.

One of the main reasons why Sobe Orange’s taste blew me away is how easy it was to drink, the taste wasn’t too sweet or too sour and there was no noticeable bad aftertaste. Since I love drinking orange juice, I decided to give this energy drink a 10 for taste. This is the first time I ever gave an energy drink a perfect score for taste, way to go Sobe!

I bought Sobe Essential Energy Orange at Walgreens for $2.49 (without tax), a little expensive for an energy drink but then again, it does have natural juice and is loaded with vitamins and energy blends.

The level of energy boost from Sobe Orange is better than average and kicked in within minutes. The energy rush wasn’t as intense as when I reviewed Rockstar Juiced Energy Guava but that didn’t matter because the calmer energy rush made it easier to concentrate and there was no noticeable side effects. The energy rush lasted for about half an hour, then the energy blends took over and was noticeable for up to 2 hours.

Sobe Essential Energy Orange was worth every penny because of its spectacular taste and decent quick energy boost. I recommend this energy drink to anyone who likes orange juice, wants a quick burst of energy without the negative side effects, and don’t mind the extra caffeine and sugar.

Sobe Orange is one of my favorite energy drinks, it really does taste like orange juice. A little too expensive though but great energy!
